 Titan Fitness Versus Anywhere Else?

Hi, we are Maryann and Josh Hightower, the owners of Titan Fitness & Tanning in Hewitt. You'll hear us refer to you as our 'Fitness Family' or 'Titan Tribe'. We are a community of like-minded, regular people that are trying to improve our fitness. 

Other places have super-cheap memberships, which means they'll have thousands of members, are over-crowded and you're nothing more than a barcode to them...

We strive to be a 'gym for the rest of us'. Members of our 'Titan Tribe' are good, hard-working folks wanting to get more fit. Shenanigans and knuckleheads are not tolerated here...

Our gym is open 24x7 at a convenient location with very affordable memberships to fit any budget. We are definitely NOT the cheapest in town. We believe you can't be the best and the cheapest at the same time.

We stay on top of recent fitness & nutrition trends including equipment, exercises, recipes, etc. and we share and teach our discoveries to help you get better results.

The hardest part is getting started, so we want to make it super-easy for you. We want you to try us out risk-free so we can show you how we're different and earn your business.

Create Your plan

Just like reading a map, you've got to know where your going and where you're starting from to figure out how to get there. Set a 12-month goal with 30, 90, 180 day milestones to make sure you're on the right path.

We believe that success creates motivation & momentum; not the other way around. Only focusing on the number you see on the scale can set you up for failure. By looking at your body composition, you will get a closer look at the entire picture. Muscle weighs more than fat and if you are building muscle and losing fat, the number on the scale may stay the same, which may lead to frustration....and ultimately failure. 

We've found a better way! When you start your membership, you'll meet with one of our Lead Fitness Coaches to find out where you're at on the path to fitness.  You will receive an InBody scan that will give you an accurate look at body fat, lean muscle mass, basal metabolic weight, water retention and muscle mass in your arms, legs and trunk. 

Once we know your biometrics, we will help you formulate a fitness & nutrition plan based on what YOU need to do to get the best results, safely, in the shortest time possible!

Follow Your Fitness plan

Your first 30 days are the most important in your fitness journey. Your goal is to be consistent with your fitness and work to develop a habit of fitness so that you feel better about exercising and not skipping workouts!

You should plan for at least 20 workouts per month, with at least 12 of those being strength training. Your workouts don't have to always be in the gym! Add some variety to your routine, i.e. trails, swimming, sports, etc!

During your workouts, you want to make sure there is intensity.

We recommend using our MyZone Activity Belts to make sure you're getting the most benefit from your time exercising.   The MyZone System allows you to monitor (in real-time) your exercise intensity, caloric expenditure, and heart rate recovery every single session  . You'll also be rewarded 'MyZone Effort Points (MEPS)' and be able to track your progress towards weekly & monthly goals. 

After you start your membership and when you meet with one of our Lead Fitness Coaches, we're going to put you through a light workout to see how you move. You'll get to try out one of our MyZone Activity Belts so you can see it in action and track your workout with us!  

Follow Your nutrition plan

Nutrition is 80% of your success. You just can't out-train a bad diet.

When you meet with one of our Lead Fitness Coaches, we're going to help you to learn how to

You’ve probably tried multiple diet and workout programs in the past. And you’ve concluded that they simply don’t work in the long run.

Instead of the all-or-nothing dieting approach, we use a sustainable, practice-based approach to build healthy habits into your life, one day at a time.

The result? You’ll lose the weight (and inches) you haven’t been able to shed for years. You’ll have more energy than ever before. And you’ll build physical strength and find new confidence in your body.

Follow Your Supplement plan

If you eat perfectly all of the time, you may not 'need' supplements... 

...but let's be brutally honest, no one eats 'perfect' all of the time! That's what supplements are fill voids in your nutrition, improve your performance in the gym and accelerate your results!

When you meet with one of our Lead Fitness Coaches, we will review your nutritional needs and InBody biometric test and may recommend supplements to maximize your results. 

We'll never recommend to replace 'real food' with supplements. In fact, you should get most of your calories and nutrient needs from whole food. 

But if we see a gap and we feel like you can get better results, we're going to help you put together a supplement regime that you can stick with to maximize your results!
